By-law No. 2010-077 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW 2010-077 BEING A BY-LAW CONVEY PART OF THE UNOPENED ROAD ALLOWANCE DESCRIBED PART OF CHATHAM STREET BEING THE ROAD ALLOWANCE BETWEEN LOTS 10 AND 11, CONCESSION 1 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM, IN THE COUNTY OF ELGIN,DESIGNATED AS PART 5 ON PLAN 11R-2446 WHEREAS Section 11 of the Municipal Act,2001,S.O.2001, c.25 as amended provides that a lower tier municipality may pass by-laws respecting Highways,including parsing and traffic on highways; AND WHEREAS Section 8 of the said Municipal Act provides that a municipality has the capacity,rights,powers,and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act; AND WHEREAS the Council of the former Village of Port Burwell passed By-law No. 83- 03 January 24, 1983 to stop up and close part of Chatham Street,designated as Part 5 on Plan 11R-2446; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it expedient to convey the subject lands to the Ministry of Natural Resources. THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bayham hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and Clerk to execute documents as necessary to effect the conveyance of lands described as Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 10 and 11,Concession 1 of the Municipality of Bayham,designated as Part 5 on Plan 11R-2446 to the Ministry of Natural Resources. 2.
