BY-LAW NO. 2009-045
A BY-LAW TO DESIGNATE HALF LOAD RESTRICTIONS ON ROADS
WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
WHEREAS Subsection (7) of Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990,
Chapter H8, as amended provides that the Municipality or other authority having
jurisdiction over a highway may by by-law designate the date on which a reduced load
period shall start or end and the highway or portion thereof under its jurisdiction to which
the designation applies:
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems
it necessary and expedient to provide for a reduced load period for the protection of
certain highways in the Municipality of Bayham.
NOW, THEREFORE,THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the provisions of Subsections 1, 2, 3 and 4, of Section 122 of the Highway
Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter H8, as amended, apply to roads within the
boundaries of the Municipality of Bayham during the period from the 1s' day of
March to the 30th day of April inclusive, in each and every year.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS
2ND DAY OF APRIL,2009.
