BY-LAW NO. 2007-028
BEING A BY—LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CORPORATION OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM AND THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
TILLSONBURG FOR THE PROVISION OF
FIRE COMMUNICATION SERVICES.
"THAT pursuant to The Fire Protection and Prevention Act,S.O. 1997 c. 4, requires a municipality to provide
such fire protection services as it determines may be necessary in accordance with its needs and circumstances;
AND WHEREAS The Fire Protection and Prevention Act,S.O. 1997 c. 4, authorizes a municipality to,under
such conditions as may be specified in the agreement,enter into an agreement to receive such fire protection
services as maybe specified in the agreement from a fire department situated outside the territorial limits of the
municipality;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg operates fire protection services and holds fire
protection assets including fire communications personnel and equipment suitable to meet The Corporation of
the Municipality of Bayham's responsibilities prescribed under The Fire Protection and Prevention Act,through
a fire department situated within the Town of Tillsonburg;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous to enter into an
agreement with The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg,to provide fire communications services to meet
municipal responsibilities required by The Fire Protection and Prevention Act, for a five(5)year period
commencing June 1,2007 as per Schedule A of this By-Law."
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement
attached hereto as Schedule"A"and forming part of this By-law between The Corporation of the Town
of Tillsonburg and The Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham for the provision of Fire
Communication Services for a five(5)year period commencing June I,2007.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.

READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 5th day of April 2007.
