BY-LAW NO. 2005-110
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF A MUNICIPAL FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
THE ASSOCIATION OF MUNICIPALITIES OF ONTARIO
WHEREAS the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario, Association of Municipalities of
Ontario, and the City of Toronto executed an Agreement For the Transfer of Federal Gas Tax
Revenues June 17,2005;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said agreement, AMO is carrying out the fund administration;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it
necessary and expedient to enter into a Municipal Funding Agreement with AMO in order to
participate in the transfer of federal gas tax.
NOW 'THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law, between
the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and The Association of Municipalities of
Ontario, being a Municipal Funding Agreement for the Transfer of Federal Gas Tax
Revenues.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 17TH
DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2005.
