BY-LAW NO.2005-083
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM AND
H.B. WHHITE CANADA CORPORATION
FOR THE LEASE OF PORTIONS OF LAKESHORE LINE
WHEREAS the County of Elgin has proceeded to transfer County Road No. 42 (Lakeshore
Line)in Lots 14 through 28 inclusive of the former Township of Bayham,now Municipality of
Bayham to the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Bayham.
AND WHEREAS portions of the said Lakeshore Line in lots 24, 25, 26, and 27 have been
closed to vehicular traffic.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of
entering into a lease agreement with H.B.White Canada Corporation for the temporary use of
this property.
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
I. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Lease attached
hereto as Schedule"A"and forming part of this by-law between the Municipality of
Bayham and H.B. White Canada Corporation for the use of Lakeshore Line in Lots 24,
25, 26, and 27 of the former Township of Bayham, now Municipality of Bayham, County
of Elgin.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 15th DAY
OF SEPTEMBER 2005.
