BY-LAW 2005-057
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CLERK
TO EXECUTE A COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES OF
THE BAYHAM CULTURE COMMITTEE
REGARDING AN APPLICATION BY
THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM,AS LEAD APPLICANT,
TO THE ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION
WHEREAS By-law 2003-114 authorized the Mayor and Clerk to execute a collaborative agreement
composed of representatives from the Municipality of Bayham, the Bayham Historical Society, the Port
Burwell Historical Society, the Port Burwell Marine Museum Committee, the Edison Museum of
Vienna Board, the Bayham Community Economic Development and Tourism Committee and the Elgin
County Archivist;
AND WHEREAS the Bayham Historical Society no longer wishes to act as the lead applicant for an
application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for additional funding support to implement priorities
identified in the Bayham Cultural Plan;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of
confirming its willingness to act in the capacity of the lead applicant for the subsequent application
prepared for submission to the Ontario Trillium Foundation;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute a new Collaborative
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law;
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 7"' DAY OF
JULY 2005.
