BY-LAW 2005-032
BEING A BY-LAW TO DESIGNATE A COMMUNITY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AREA
IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
WHEREAS the Municipality of Bayham in accordance with provisions of Section 17 (22)
of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, on July 5, 2001, by By-law 2001-60, adopted an Official
Plan for the Municipality of Bayham;
AND WHEREAS on August 15, 2002 the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
approved the said Official Plan for the Municipality of Bayham;
AND WHEREAS Section 6 of the said Official Plan establishes Community Improvement
policies for the Municipality;
AND WHEREAS Subsection 28 (2) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 13, as
amended, provides that where there is an official plan in effect in a local municipality that
contains provisions relating to community improvement in the municipality, the council
may,by by-law, designate the whole or any part of an area covered by such an official plan
as a community improvement project area
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham, in
accordance with the provisions of Subsection 28 (2) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990,
Chapter 13, as amended hereby enacts as follows:
1. THAT the traditional core business areas of the Village of Port Burwell, Village of
Vienna,Village of Straffordville and Hamlet of Eden, in the Municipality of Bayham, as
delineated in Schedule "Al", Schedule "A2", Schedule "A3", and Schedule "A4",
attached hereto and forming part of this By-law, be designated as a Community
Improvement Project Area for the Municipality of Bayham.
READ A FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 21"
day of April 2005.
