BY-LAW NO.2004-098
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
ROYAL BANK OF CANADA
FOR BANKING SERVICES
WHEREAS Section 8 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.Q. 2001, c. 25 as amended provides a municipality
with the powers of a natural person.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham has accepted the
banking services proposal provided by Royal Bank of Canada.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Financial Services
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law, between the
Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Royal Bank of Canada.
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the 24-Hour Banking
Service Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "B" and forming part of this by-law, between
the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Royal Bank of Canada.
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Deposit Interest
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "C" and forming part of this by-law, between the
Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Royal Bank of Canada.
4. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Night & Day
Depository Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "D" and forming part of this by-law,
between the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Royal Bank of Canada.
5. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 2ND DAY OF
DECEMBER 2004.
