HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 2004-066 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO. 2004-066 A BY-LAW TO ASSUME AND ESTABLISH LAND IN THE MUNICIALITY OF BAYHAM AS PART OF THE PUBLIC HIGHWAY(CHAPEL STREET) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham purchased properties for the purposes of widening Chapel Street; AND WHEREAS the Municipality desires to establish the said parcels of land as part of the public highway pursuant to Section 31(1)of the Municipal Act,2001, S.O. 2001,c. 25, as amended. THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the parcels of land listed below and situated in the Municipality of Bayham in the County of Elgin be and the same is hereby assumed as part of the following public highway: Legal Descriptions Public Highway Part of Block H,North of King St., Chapel Street and South of Public Road, Plan 54 (Village of Vienna)Geographic Township of Bayham, Municipality of Bayham, County of Elgin being designated as Part 1,Plan 11R-7802 AND Part of Block H,North of King St., Chapel Street and South of Public Road,Plan 54, Municipality of Bayham, County of Elgin being described as Part 1, on Reference Plan 11R-7762 2. THAT this by-law shall take effect upon the date of its registration in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Elgin(No. 11). 3. THAT the Clerk or designate is hereby authorized to amend the parcel designation noted in this By-law,if necessary upon registration of this By-law.
