BY-LAW NO.2003-070
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 2002-03, AS AMENDED
A BY-LAW TO APPOINT MUNICIPAL
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES FOR THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
APPOINTING DEPUTY CLERKS
WHEREAS Sections 227,228 and 229,of the Municipal Act,2001, S.O.2001 c.25, as amended,
permits municipalities to pass by-laws appointing officers and employees as may be necessary for the
purposes of the Corporation;
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham did by By-law 2002-03 appoint municipal
officers and employees for the purposes of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham did by By-law
2002-103 and 2003-003 amend such by-law;
AND WHEREAS, by resolution dated September 4, 2003 Council of the Municipality of Bayham
accepted the resignation of Michael Graves effective August 29, 2003 creating a vacancy in the
position of Co-ordinator of Planting Services and Deputy Clerk;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary to further amend
By-law 2002-03 to appoint Deputy Clerks;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 4 Co-ordinator of Planning&Deputy Clerk Michael Graves be deleted and
replaced as follows:
4(a) Co-ordinator of Planning
4(b) Deputy Clerks Margaret Underhill,Kyle Kruger
2. THAT in all other respects,By-law 2002-03,as amended,is hereby confirmed;
3. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon passing.
READ A FIRST,SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 4TH DAY
OF SEPTEMBER 2003.
