BY-LAW NO. 2002-97
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
CALDWELL SECURITIES LTD.
TO ESTABLISH AN INVESTMENT ACCOUNT
FOR THE SEWER RESERVE
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of
entering into an agreement with Caldwell Securities Ltd. to establish an investment account for
the sewer reserve for the Municipality of Bayham;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bayham authorizes an agreement with
Caldwell Securities Ltd. to establish an investment account for the sewer reserve;
2. THAT the Mayor, Treasurer and the Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule"A"and forming part of this by-law;
3. AND THAT the Mayor, Treasurer and the Administrator are hereby authorized and
empowered for and on behalf of the Municipality to buy, sell, order and transfer
securities in accordance with the Municipal Act and any regulations pertaining thereto
and to execute and sign all necessary and requisite acts of sale, purchase, assignment and
transfer on behalf of the Municipality;
4. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 19TH
DAY OF DECEMBER 2002.
