HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 2002-048 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO. 2002-048 A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF ROBINSON STREET IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC WHEREAS: 1. Paragraph 44 of Section 207 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.1990, chapter M.45, provides in part that By-laws may be passed by the Councils of all Municipalities for closing to vehicular traffic on a temporary basis, for such period as shall be placed in the by-law, any highway under the jurisdiction of the Council for such social, recreational, community, athletic, or cinematographic purpose as may be specified in the by-law. 2. The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary and expedient to pass a by-law to close a portion of Robinson Street in the Municipality of Bayham to vehicular traffic for the purpose of events for the Lighthouse Heritage Plaque Ceremony. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT Robinson Street,from the intersection of Pitt Street southerly to its intersection with Brock Street, in the Municipality of Bayham, be and the same is hereby closed to vehicular traffic for the purposes of the Lighthouse Heritage Plaque Ceremony,on the following date and time: i) Saturday August 17th,2002 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing. READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 4th DAY OF JULY, 2002. Mayor /r Clerk
