MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
BY-LAW 2000-83
BEING A BY-LAW AMENDING
BY-LAW 2000-06
A BY-LAW TO IMPOSE
RATES AND FEES
WHEREAS Section 220.1 (2) of the Municipal Act,R.S.O., Chapter M.45, as amended
authorizes municipalities to set out by by-law, specific rates and fees to be charged for
services;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham did by By-
law 2000-06 adopt a schedule of rates and fees for such services;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham now deems it expedient to
amend By-law 2000-06;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Schedule of Rates and Fees as set out in Schedule "A" of By-law 2000-06
be amended as follows:
(a) Straffordville Community Centre Section(i)under Rental Exemptions -
Straffordville, the following be added:
"That the cleaning fees as set by Council be charged for functions etc., by
those listed under Exemptions, at the discretion of the Community Centre
Manager, based on actual cleaning requirements;
Or that in lieu of cleaning fees, an appropriate annual donation to the
Municipality of Bayham may be made;
And that should any disagreement wise regarding such fee or donation,
application be made to the Community Centres Committee for further
consideration and adjustment, if any."
(b) Vienna Community Centre Section (ii) under Rental Exemptions - Vienna,the
following be added:
"That the cleaning fees as set by Council be charged for functions etc., by
those listed under Exemptions, at the discretion of the Community Centre
Manager, based on actual cleaning requirements;
Or that in lieu of cleaning fees, an appropriate annual donation to the
Municipality of Bayham may be made;
And that should any disagreement arise regarding such fee or donation,
application be made to the Community Centres Committee for further
consideration and adjustment, if any."
2. THAT in all other respects By-law 2000-06 be and is hereby confirmed;
3. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect upon final passing.
Read a first,second and third time and finally passed this 21.gt day of September 2000.
