BY-LAW NO. 2000-76
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH D'AMOURE CONSTRUCTION LTD.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EDEN TO STRAFFORDVILLE
SANITARY SEWER FORCEM ]N IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPHS 207(13) AND 210(84) OF THE
MUNICIPAL ACT, CHAPTER M.45,R.S.O. 1990 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham deems it expedient to authorize
the Mayor and Clerk to enter into and execute a contract on behalf of the Municipality,
for the construction of the Eden to Straffordville Sanitary Sewer Forcemain based on and
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender accepted;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham(the "Municipality")
desires to enter into an agreement with D'Amoure Construction Ltd. for construction of
the Eden to Straffordville Sanitary Sewer Forcemain in accordance with Contract No. 3
as prepared by the Ontario Clean Water Agency;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham enacts as
follows:
1. THAT the Municipality enter into and execute an Agreement with D'Amoure
Construction Ltd. for construction of the Eden to Straffordville Sanitary Sewer
Forcemain in accordance with Contract No. 3 attached hereto as Schedule "A"
and forming part of this By-Law;
2. THAT the Mayor and the Clerk of the Municipality are hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the Municipality to execute all documents as may be
required to give effect to these presents.
3. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS
