HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 2000-032 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO.2000-32 A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM AND THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH-WEST OXFORD FOR THE PROVISION OF AUTOMATIC AID SERVICES WHEREAS the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Chapter 4, Statutes of Ontario, 1997, authorizes a municipality to enter automatic aid agreements with other municipalities. AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham (authorizing By-law 2000-03) and the Corporation of the Township of South-West Oxford(authorizing By-law 2-00) have entered into an Agreement for the provision of Emergency Response services in the Municipality of Bayham; AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to amend the said Agreement; THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law; 2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing. READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 6TH DAY OF APRIL 2000. c1LX 04- MAY 4 R C ERK CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH-WEST OXFORD BY-LAW NO. 12-00 A by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Municipality of Bayham and the Township of South-West Oxford for the Provision of Automatic Aid Services. WHEREAS the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Chapter 4, Statutes of Ontario, 1997. authorizes a municipality to enter automatic and agreements with other municipalities. AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the 1 ownship of South-West Oxford and the Corporation of Municipality of Bayham have entered into an Agreement for provision of automatic fire protection service for part of the municipality of Bayham; AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to amend the said Agreement; THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH-WEST OXFORD ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law. 2. That this by-law shall come into force and effect on the date of the final passing. thereof. READ a First, Second time this 7th day of March, 2000. READ a Third time and finally passed this 7th day of March, 2000. 1, 64' ler41‘2, MAYOR: Mart(Peg)Caffyn CLERK: Allen Forrester SCHEDULE "A" This Agreement made in duplicate this 7th day of March , 2000 BETWEEN: THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM, OF THE FIRST PART; -and- THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, OF THE SECOND PART; WHEREAS the Municipality of Bayham and the Township of South-West Oxford have entered into an Agreement for the provision of automatic fire protection service for part of the Municipality of Bayham; AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to amend the said Agreement; NOW THEREFORE the parties hereto mutually agree as follows: 1. The said Agreement, dated February 1, 2000, between the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and the Corporation of the Township of South-West Oxford is hereby amended by deleting Schedule "B" thereto and substituting the attached Schedule "B" therefor. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have affixed their Corporate Seals attested by the hands of their proper officers. Bounded on the north by all properties on the south side of Pressey Road Bounded on the east by all properties on the west side of Bayham Drive from the south side of Pressey Road southerly to Talbot Line. I r u 4wr' 40 y ". �7 I .C �� ' " MUNICIPALITY OF RAYHAM SCHEDULE "C" As defined in Schedule "A" of By-Law No. 2000-03, the Municipality of Bayham will pay the Township of South-West Oxford for Automatic Aid responses from the Brownsville Fire Station. This amount is set at $300.00 per vehicle up to a maximum of 3 vehicles. The normal response will be 3 vehicles, costing a total of$900.00
