HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 2000-028 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO.2000-28 BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO CEMETERY BOARDS OF THE MUNICIPALITY WHEREAS The Cemeteries Act R.S.O., 1990 Chapter C.4 authorizes the establishment and operation of Cemeteries; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous to appoint persons to Cemetery Boards for the purposes of the Corporation; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it expedient to appoint such persons by by-law; THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the following persons be and are hereby appointed to act as members of the following Cemetery Boards of the Municipality of Bayham: Bayham Joint Cemetery Board • One representatives of each individual Cemetery Board (as appointed by each Board) • Council Representative - Mathew Schafer • Staff- Lynda Millard as Secretary Individual Cemetery Boards Straffordville • Murray Wisson/Joe Neville (2'1 Vice-Chairman)/Carl Biro (1 year) • Gerald Taylor/Frank Mueller/ Wm. Underhill (2 year) • Perry Grant(Chairman) /Brent Stewart/Francis Underhill (1st Vice-Chairman) (3 year) Eden • James Tait/Hugh Howey/Wilfred Burwell • Ray Roloson/William Baldwin(Secretary-Treasurer) Calton • Ray Woodworth(Chairman)/Lloyd McQuiggan/Rob Davies • Wilhelm Siemens / Stan James (Secretary-Treasurer) • Roger James (Assistant Secretary-Treasurer) Guysboro • Bonnie Ball Coelho(Secretary-Treasurer)/Theo Dickhout • Robert Ball/Dan Rayson/Mack Ball • Sheryl Rayson/Doug Swinn(Chairman) Smuck • Robert Gregson(Chairman) /R. THAT the term of this appointment be in accordance with By-law 2000-27 and that appointees shall remain in office until respective successors are appointed by Council; 3. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect upon final passing. READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 6TH DAY OF APRIL 2000. MAYOR` CLERK
