BY-LAW NO 2000-22
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 98-61,
AS AMENDED, A BY-LAW TO REGULATE
CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION AND CHANGE OF
USE PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS
WHEREAS Section 7 of the Building Code Act, 1992 empowers municipal Councils to
pass by-laws respecting construction,demolition and change of use permits and inspections;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham enacted
and passed By-law No. 98-61 on July 16, 1998 and amending By-law No. 99-22 on March
18th, 1999 and amending By-law No. 99-81 on November 4, 1999;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham now
deems it necessary to further amend By-law No. 98-61;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Schedule"A"to By-law No. 98-61, be further amended to incorporate the
following:
i) Section 1(a) Remove $30.00 plus and insert $45.00 plus
Remove .25 per sq. foot and insert .28 per sq.foot
ii) Section 2(b) Remove"$5.00 each additional unit".
iii) Section 2(c) Remove$3.00 per thousand and insert$4.00 per thousand
iv) Section 2(d) Remove $.15 per sq. foot and insert$.08 per sq. foot
v) Section 3(a) Remove $3.00 per thousand and insert$4.00 per thousand
vi) Section 4(a) Remove $2.00 per thousand and insert$3.00 per thousand
vii) Section 4(e) Remove $2.00 per thousand and insert$3.00 per thousand
Add:
Plus $.15 per sq. foot for additions to those moved-in structures non-
living space
Plus $.28 per sq. foot for living space additions
2. THAT in all other respects,By-law No. 98-61, as amended,be and is hereby
confirmed.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 16th day of March 2000.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 16th day of March 2000.
