BY-LAW NO. 2000-03
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM AND THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH-WEST
OXFORD FOR THE PROVISION OF AUTOMATIC AID
SERVICES
WHEREAS the Fire Protection and Pre'.cntion Act, Chapter 4, Statutes of Ontario, 1997,
authorizes a municipality to enter automatic aid agreements with other municipalities.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of
entering into an agreement for provision of automatic aid services to be performed under the
jurisdiction of the Municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham has accepted
the proposal submitted by the Township of South-West Oxford for the provision of Emergency
Response services in the Municipality of Bayham;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement
attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law between the Township
of South-West Oxford and the Municipality of Bayham for the provision of automatic aid
services to be performed under the jurisdiction of the Municipality;
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 3RD
DAY OF FEBRUARY 2000.
