HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 1999-014 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO. 99-14 BEING A BY-LAW TO REPEAL BY-LAW NUMBER 98-22,A BY-LAW TO ADOPT AMENDMENT NO. 105 TO THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM OFFICIAL PLAN. WHEREAS at its meeting held on February 20, 1998, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham enacted and passed By-law No. 98-22, being a by-law to adopt Amendment No. 105 to the Township of Bayham Official Plan to change the land use designation on a parcel of land described as Part Lot 15, Concession 2 from"Agriculture"to "Special Agricultural Area No. 1"to facilitate the development of a natural gas processing plant by Talisman Energy; AND WHEREAS Amendment No. 105 was subsequently approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on June 6, 1998 and the Decision was appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board by concerned residents; AND WHEREAS Talisman Energy Inc. in a letter dated January 29th, 1999 has advised the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham that they no longer wish to proceed with the project and have subsequently notified the Ontario Municipal Board who have closed their files on this matter; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACATS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT By-law No. 98-22, enacted and passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham on February 20, 1998 be and is hereby repealed; 2. THAT a certified true copy of this By-law shall be forwarded by Registered Mail to the following: • Talisman Energy Inc. • Ontario Municipal Board • Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing • Gilles Lucien Therrien(property owner) • Appellants: Janet&Keith Underhill Alice & Tony Csinos Stephen Trudeau&Pat Teall Trudeau Vienna Farms Limited Attention: Leighton Martin Rick& Cheryl Nevill 3. THAT this By-law shall take effect upon the date of its enactment. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 18th day of FEBRUARY, 1999.
