BY-LAW NO. 98-89
A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 97-34
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE BARTLEY
DRAIN-BRANCH 'A' PURSUANT TO
CHAP.D. 17 OF THE DRAINAGE ACT,R.S.O. 1990.
WHEREAS the Bartley Drain-Branch 'A' was constructed under the provisions of the
Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1990, and according to the By-law of the Municipality providing for such
reconstruction and according to the Report the Engineer made thereon;
AND WHEREAS the actual cost of the reconstruction was more than the estimated cost;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the attached schedule of assessment amend By-law No. 97-34 to reflect the actual
cost of the Bartley Drain-Branch 'A' increasing by$4,757.49 from the Engineer's
Estimate of$49,200.00 to the actual cost of$53,957.49.
2. THAT the approved estimated cost and the borrowing of money by way of temporary
advances pending sale of debentures in the amount of$49,200.00 decreased by
$26,789.32 to $22,410.68,the actual cost of assessments that exceed $150.
3. THAT this By-law comes into force on the passing thereof and may be cited as the
"Bartley Drain-Branch 'A' Amending By-law".
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 1st day of October, 1998.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 1St day of October, 1998.
