MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
BY-LAW 98-86
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 98-03
(A BY-LAW TO IMPOSE
RATES AND FEES)
WHEREAS Section 220.1 (2)of the Municipal Act,R.S.O., Chapter M.45, as amended
authorizes municipalities to set out by by-law, specific rates and fees to be charged for
administrative services;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham by By-
law No. 98-03 enacted and passed on the 5th of January, 1998, adopted fees as set out in
Schedule "A"attached thereto and forming part of that By-law which was subsequently
amended by By-law 98-19;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham now
deems it necessary to further amend By-law No. 98-03 to include a fee for the purchase
and installation of 9-1-1 Municipal Address Signs;
THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Schedule "A"to By-law No. 98-03, as amended, is hereby further
amended to include the following fee with regard to the purchase and installation
of 9-1-1 Municipal Address Signs:
9-1-1 Municipal Address Signs & Posts $40
Purchase and Installation
(to be paid as a condition of severance or in the
case of existing lots,at the building permit stage and for
any existing lots which were inadvertently omitted
or otherwise collected similar to taxes)
2. THAT in all other respects, By-law 98-03 and amending By-law 98-19 be and are
hereby confirmed.
3. THAT this By-law shall come into full force and effect upon the date of its
passage.

Read a third time and finally passed this 17th day of September, 1998.
