BY-LAW NUMBER 98-49
A by-law to provide for advance votes to be held prior to voting day.
WHEREAS Section 43(1)of the Municipal Elections Act, S.O. 1996 provides
that a municipal council shall pass a by-law establishing one or more dates for an
advance vote, and the hours during which voting places shall be open on that date or
dates;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Bayham hereby enacts as follows:
1. THAT Advance Votes for the By-Election for Councillor, to be held July 20,
1998 shall be held on Saturday, the 11th day of July 1998, between the hours of
10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m, and on Wednesday,the 15th day of July 1998, between
the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., in Ward 3.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 4th day of June, 1998.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALY PASSED this 4th day of June, 1998,
