BY-LAW 98-47
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND THE CLERK TO SIGN
STANDARD AGREEMENTS WITH VOLUNTEERS FOR AN ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
PROGRAM ALONG MUNICIPAL RIGHTS-OF-WAY WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM
WHEREAS the Municipality has been approached by volunteers who desire to provide clean-up
along Municipal rights-of-way in the Municipality of Bayham; and
WHEREAS the Municipality is willing to support the efforts of such volunteers who desire to
provide such services.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham
enacts as follows:
1. That the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to sign standard agreements with
Volunteers for an Adopt-A-Highway Program along Municipal Road Rights-Of-Way
within the Municipality of Bayham, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in
the Agreement attached as Appendix "A".
2. That this By-Law shall take effect upon passing.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 21d day of May, 1998.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 218i day of May, 1998.
