BY-LAW NO. 98-30
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CLERK
TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
MUNICIPALITY AND JACK AND NORMA VINCE FOR THE LEASE
OF A PORTION OF THE LANDS DESCRIBED AS PLAN 12 LOT 2 TO 5
W/S ERIEUS, PLAN 12 LOT 3 TO 5 E/S ROBINSON BEING 1.10 ACRES,
IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM (FORMERLY VILLAGE OF
PORT BURWELL), COUNTY OF ELGIN
WHEREAS pursuant to the Short Forms of Leases Act, the Landlord and Tenant Act and
Amendments, Jack and Norma Vince have offered to lease Municipal owned vacant land to
permit the temporary installation of a mobile trailer unit for the purposes of operating a food
booth;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Jack and
Norma Vince have reached an agreement setting out the terms and conditions of the lease.
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Agreement attached hereto and forming part of this By-law between
the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham and Jack and Norma Vince setting out the
terms and conditions for Jack and Norma Vince to lease a portion of the Municipal owned
vacant Iand composed of Plan 12 Lot 2 to 5 W/S Erieus, Plan 12 Lot 3 to 5, E/S Robinson
being 1.10 acres, in the Municipality of Bayham (formerly the Village of Port Burwell),
and more specifically identified on Schedule "B" to the Agreement is hereby approved.
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized to execute the attached agreement
marked as Schedule "A" on behalf of the Corporation.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 2°d day of APRIL, 1998.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this rd day of APRIL, 1998.
