BY-LAW 2016-017
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AN ONTARIO TRANSFER PAYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN IN RIGHT OF ONTARIO
REGARDING
THE SOURCE PROTECTION MUNICIPAL FUND
WHEREAS the Province provides funding to offset a portion of costs for small, rural
municipalities in preparing and implementing source protection plans;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham requires funding to assist in
implementing a source protection plan;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of entering into an
agreement with the Province to receive funding;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement
attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law between the Municipality
of Bayham and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the
Minister of the Environment and Climate Change;
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 3rd DAY OF
MARCH 2016.
