BY-LAW NO. Z248-90
BEING A BY-LAW TO SND BY-LAW NO. 2387
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham
deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387 ;
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Townshin of
Bayham enacts as follows:
1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Section 12 , Rural Industrial (M2) Zone
Regulations by adding a new subsection to Section 12 . 10
EXCEPTION - (M2) Zone as follows:
"12 . 10.8
12 . 10 . 8 . 1 Defined Area
M2-8 as shown on Schedule 'A' , Map 2 to this
By-law.
12. 10 . 6 .2 Permitted Uses
Petroleum storage and a waste recovery site
in addition to all other permitted uses in
the Rural Industrial (M2) Zone.
12. 10. 8 . 3 Permitted Buildings and Structures
Buildings and structures for the permitted
uses. "
2. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Schedule 'A' , Map 2 , by deleting from the Rural
Industrial (M2) Zone and adding to the Special Rural
Industrial (M2-8) Zone, those lands enclosed in heavy solid
lines and marked M2-8 on Schedule 'A' to this By-law, which
schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law.
3 . THIS By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
2
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

NOTICE OF THE PASSING
OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY
THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Bayham passed By-law No. Z248-90 on the 15th day of November,
1990 under Section 34 of THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the
Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-law by filing with
the Clerk of the Township of Bayham not later than the lith day
of December, 1990, a notice of appeal setting out the objection
to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection.
An explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law,
describing the lands to which the By-law applies, and a Key Map
showing the location of the lands to which the By-law applies
(or, alternatively an explanation as to why a key map is not
provided) are attached. The complete By-law is available for
inspection in my office during regular office hours.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of By-law No. Z248-90 is to change the zoning on a
2 . 4 hectare (6 .0 acre) parcel of land fronting on the road
allowance between Elgin and Haldimand-Norfolk Counties (Bayham
Road) in Part Lot 20, Concession 11, north of Highway No. 3 in
the Township of Bayham, from the Rural Industrial (M2) Zone to
the Special Rural Industrial (M2-8) Zone.
The effect of this By-law will be to include as permitted uses on
the subject lands, petroleum storage and a waste recovery
operationpin addition to all other permitted uses in the Rural
Industrial (M2) Zone. The subject lands are designated "Non-Farm
Area No. 3" (Industrial) in the Township of Bayham's Official
Plan.
