Z155-87 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2040 WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2040; THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham enacts as follows : 1 . THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending Section 5 , Agricultural Zone Regulations by adding two new subsections after subsection 5. 12. 7 as follows : "5.12.8 5. 12. 8. 1 Defined Area Al-$ as shown on Schedule "A'° to this By-law. 5. 12. 8. 2 Minimum Lot Area 1. 97 hectares 5. 12. 8. 3 Minimum Lot Frontage 85. 0 metres 5.12.9 5. 12.9. 1 Defined Area Al-9 as shown on Schedule "A" to this By-law. - 2 - 5. 12. 9. 2 Minimum Lot Area 4.3 hectares 5. 12. 9. 3 Minimum Lot Frontage 52.0 metres. " 2 . THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending Schedule "A" , Map 49 by deleting from the Agricultural (Al) Zone and adding to the Special Agricultural (A1-8) Zone and the Special Agricultural (A1-9) Zone those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and designated Al-8, and Al-9 on Schedule "A" to this By-law which schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law. 3. This By-law comes into force: a) where no notice of objection' has been filed with the Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board. READ a FIRST time this 6th day of August, 1987. READ a SECOND time this 6th day of August, 1987. DAY OF AUGUST, 1987 UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE PLANNING ACT, 1983. AND TAKE NOTICE THAT ANY PERSON OR AGENCY MAY APPEAL TO THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN RESPECT OF THE BY-LAW BY FILING WITH THE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM NOT LATER THAN THE 10TH. DAY OF SEPTEpIBER, 1987, A NOTICE OF APPEAL SETTING OUT THE OBJECTION TO THE BY-LAW AND THE REASONS IN SUPPORT OF THE OBJECTION. AN EXPLANATION OF THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE BY-LAW, DESCRIBING THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES, AND A KEY MAP SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES (OR, ALTERNATIVELY AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A KEY MAP IS NOT PROVIDED) ARE ATTACHED. PETRIE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM BOX 160 STRAFFORDVILLE, NOJ 1Y0 EXPLANATORY NOTE The purpose of By-law No . Z155-87 is to change the zoning on two adjacent parcels of land situated on the east side of Highway No. 19 in part of Lots 201 and 21, Concession VIII, in the Township of Bayham. These rezonings are necessary to reflect a recent change in ownership and a corresponding boundary adjustment. The westernmost lot is comprised of 1.97 hectares while the lot to the east is comprised of 4.3 hectares. Both parcels are primarily used for the cultivation of field crops with the larger lot also containing an existing residence and barns.
