BY-LAW NO. Z131-85
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2040
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2040;
THEREFORE, THE Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham enacts as follows :
1. THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended, is hereby further
amended by amending Section 11 - Farm Industrial
(M1 ) Zone Regulations by adding a new subsection to
subsection 11 .10 EXCEPTIONS - Ml ZONE after subsection
11 .10.1 as follows :
"11.10.2
11.10 .2 . 1 Defined Area
M1-2 as shown on Schedule "A" - Map 55
to this By-law.
11 .10. 2.2 Permitted Uses
abattoir
a commercial use as an accessory use
11 . 10 . 2.3 Prohibited Uses
commercial grain handling and
storage facilities
commercial welding and machine shop
feed or flour mill
fertilizer plant
farm supplies and bulk storage
grain drying or processing operation
a dwelling unit as an accessory use
11. 10 . 2 . 4 Permitted Buildings and Structures
buildings and structures for the
permitted uses. "
2 . THAT Schedule "A" to By-law No. 2040, as amended,
is hereby further amended by deleting from the
Agricultural (Al) Zone and adding to the special
Farm Industrial (M1-2 ) Zone those lands enclosed
in heavy solid lines and designated M1-2 on Schedule
'A' to this By-law which schedule is attached to and
forms part of this By-law and which schedule shall be
deemed to be known as Schedule "A" , Map 55 to
By-law No. 2040 .
3 . THAT Schedule "A", Map 55 to By-law No. 2040,
as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting
from the Agricultural (A1 ) Zone and adding to the
Rural Residential (RR) Zone those lands enclosed
in heavy solid lines and designated RR on Schedule 'A`
to this By-law which schedule is attached to and forms
part of this By-law.
4 . THIS By-law comes into force:
(a) Where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
(b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
READ a FIRST time this 6th day of June, 1985.
READ a SECOND time this 6th day of June, 1985.
READ a THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 6th day of June,
1985.

OF BAYHAM PASSED BY—LAW Z131-85 ON THE 6TH DAY OF JUNE, 1985
UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT ANY PERSON OR AGENCY MAY APPEAL TO THE
ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN RESPECT OF THE BY—LAW BY FILING WITH
THE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM NOT LATER THAN THE 12TH DAY OF
JULY, 1985, A NOTICE OF APPEAL SETTING OUT THE OBJECTION TO THE
BY—LAW AND THE REASONS IN SUPPORT OF THE OBJECTION .
AN EXPLANATION OF THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE BY—LAW, DESCRIB—
ING THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY—LAW APPLIES, AND A KEY MAP SHOWING
THE LOCATION OF THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY—LAW APPLIES (OR, ALTER—
NATIVELY, AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A KEY MAP IS NOT PROVIDED) ARE

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of By-law No. Z131-85 is to change the zoning
on a property located at the south-east corner of County
Roads 44 and 46 in Lot 6, Concession 8 of the Township of
Bayham, from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to the Rural
Residential (RR) Zone and the special Farm Industrial
(M1-2 ) Zone.
The effect of this By-law is to permit the establishment
of a rural residential dwelling and an abattoir on a parcel
consisting of approximately 7. 5 hectares of unproductive
agricultural land.
