(Concession 7) , south of the Big Otter Creek, in the Township of Bayham, from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone. The effect of this By-law will be to permit the creation of a rural residential lot suitable for the construction of a single dwelling unit pursuant to the process of severance and conveyance. The subdividing of large farms into smaller land holdings for non-farm related activity should not be supported by the Township (4 . 2.1 .3) . This checklist is intended to act as a guide in order to assist in determining the appropriateness of creating rural non-farm residential lots . If a proposal does not entirely conform to this checklist , the Township Planners should be contacted prior to the formal submission of an application for consent to the Elgin County Land Division Committee. For a more detailed reference to the policies affecting rural non-farm residential development, the Official Plan and Zoning By-law for the Township of Bayham should be consulted .
