BY-LAW NO.Z387-97

BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2387
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham deems it
necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387;
THEREFORE,the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham enacts as
follows:
1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending
Schedule"A", Map No. 68,by deleting from the Agricultural(A1-14)Zone and
adding to the existing Special Agricultural(Al)Zone,and adding to the rural
Residential(RR)Zone,those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and marked RR
on Schedule "A"to this By-law, which schedule is attached to and forms part of
this By-law.
2. THAT this By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the Township's Clerk
within the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant
thereto, upon the expiration of the prescribed time, or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Township's Clerk within
the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 18th day of December, 1997
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 18th day of
December, 1997.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of this By-law is to change the zoning on a parcel of land comprising approximately
0.4 hectares (1 acre) situated on the south side of Light Line, in Part Lot 17, Consession
the Township of Bayham, from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone.
The effect of this By-law will be to facilitate the creation of one new non-farm residential lot for
retirement purposes.

Section 34(2) of the Planning Act,R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13
I, Lynda Millard hereby certify that the notice for By-law No. Z387-97 of the Corporation of the
Township of Bayham passed by the Council of the Corporation on the 18th day of December,
1997 was given in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by regulations made by the
Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under Section 34(18) of the Planning Act.
I also certify that the 20 day objection period expired on 13th day of January, 1998 and to this
date, no notice of objection has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
