BY-LAW 2017-055
BEING A BY-LAW TO DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITY FOR A
DRIVER TRAINING PROGRAM TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS
OF THE ONTARIO DRIVER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham has deemed it appropriate to designate
the responsibility for a Driver Training Program for administration purposes and to satisfy the
requirements of the Ontario Driver Certificate Program under the Ministry of Transportation;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT The Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham hereby recognizes that The Corporation
of the Township of Malahide (Malahide Fire Service) is part of the same Elgin County Mutual
Aid Association as Bayham Fire & Emergency Services;
2. THAT all firefighters driving records from both fire departments will be kept in one secure place;
3. THAT Firefighter Dennis Johnson will be the Signing Authority for both fire departments
Identification No# 32-2-04-02;
4. THAT the Township of Malahide CAO/Clerk Michelle Casavecchia-Sommers will be the
Recognized Authority for Bayham Fire & Emergency Services.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 1st day of JUNE
2017.
