BY-LAW 2016-101
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE WRITEOFF OF TAXES
WHEREAS Section 354 (2) (a) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended,
provides that the treasurer of a local municipality shall remove unpaid taxes from the tax
roll if the council of the local municipality, on the recommendation of the treasurer, writes
off the taxes as uncollectible, and;
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary to write off
the taxes as uncollectible for the said properties set out in Schedule "A";
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the taxes on the properties set out in Schedule 'A' be written off as
uncollectable.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into force and effect upon its passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 15th Day of
December 2016.
