BY-LAW NO. 2015-012
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
. OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
THE GRAND RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY
REGARDING FUNDING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOURCE PROTECTION
POLICY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS the Municipality wishes to undertake Policy Development to address
drinking water threats and monitor drinking water threats and issues for the development
of the Source Protection Plan, as outlined in the Lake Erie Source Protection Area
Terms of Reference;
AND WHEREAS The Grand River Conservation Authority has received approval from
the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change to provide funding for the purpose
of source protection policy development;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Memorandum of Agreement attached hereto as Scheule "A" and forming part
of this by-law between the Municipality of Bayham and the Grand River
Conservation Authority
2. AND THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 5th DAY
OF FEBRUARY. 2015.
