A Bylaw for the appointment of Engineer under tl;e
Ditches w .'.atercourses Act.
7=3AS it is expedient t �1a t the appointment of J.
Lewis Thomases the engineer of the Ilunicipali ty of the l o-wnsliip
of Bavham under the Ditches (e Watercourses Act, should be revoked
and tLe bylaw passed to that effect rescinded,
AND i7 i- 7M S it is expedient that a new engineer should
be appointed in his place and stead,

enacts as
follows:

That Bylaw number

Corporation of the Township of Bayham al)pointing the said J. Lewis
Thomas engineer of the Township of Balham 'oe and the save is hereby
revoked and the Township Clerk is instructed to notify the said J.
lev i s Thomas of the revocation of his a pointment as engineer for

said Township.
2. Pursudnt to the ?or ovi si ons of Section Four oil- the
Ditches & Watercourses Act', James A,? Bell, Zs juire , of the City
of St. Thomas in the County of Flp-in, is ? erebir a"Oointe d &S en—
gineer for this %Zuni cipali ty to carry out the provisions of said
Act.
J. The said Engineer sl,all be paid the following fees
for services rendered under said Act, namely, --
4. The said James Bell is also a �l ointed engineer
for this Township for all other purposes and is to receive for ser—
vices so rendered his usual professional fees and is to hold office
during the pleasure of this Council.
5. This Bylaw s1zll take effect from the date of the
final passing thereof.
