BY-LAW NO. 2014-086
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH A.G. HAYTER CONTRACTING
LTD. FOR THE PROVISION OF DRAINAGE WORKS FOR THE
MUELLER MUNICIPAL DRAIN 2014 IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF THE DRAINAGE ACT,
CHAPTER D.17, R.S.Q. 1990 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham deems it expedient to authorize
the Mayor and Clerk to enter into and execute a contract on behalf of the Municipality,
for the provision of drainage works of the Meuller Municipal Drain 2014 based on and in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender accepted;
AND WHEREAS ale Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham (the "Municipality")
desires to enter into an agreement with A.G. Hayter Contracting Ltd. for construction of
the Mueller Municipal Drain 2014 in accordance with the Contract as prepared by Spriet
Associates;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham enacts as
follows:
1. THAT the Municipality enter into and execute an agreement with A.G. Hayter
Contracting Ltd. for construction of the Meuller Municipal Drain 2014 in
accordance with the Contract attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of
this By-Law;
2. THAT the Mayor and the Clerk of the Municipality are hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the Municipality to execute all documents as may be
required to give effect to these presents.
3. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 7TH
DAY OF AUGUST 2014.
