BY-LAW 2014-023
BEING A BY-LAW TO FURTHER AMEND BY-LAW 2012-022
IMPOSING RATES AND FEES
WHEREAS the Municipal Act S.O. 2001, Chap. M. 25 as amended provides that the Council of a local
Municipality may by by-law, impose specific rates and fees to be charged for municipal services.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham did by By-law 2012-022
adopt a schedule of rates and fees for municipal services;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham did by By-laws 2012-094 and
2014-012 amend such By-law;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham now deems it expedient to further amend By-law
2012-022 to amend the Planning Department Fees;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary to approve
such amendment by By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 2: Civil Marriage Solemnization Services Section be revised as follows:
"Civil Marriage Ceremony Outside boundaries of the municipality"
Be amended to read:
"Civil Marriage Ceremony within or outside boundaries of the municipality"
2. THAT the current Planning Department - Planning Report Fee of$575.00 be increased to the
amount of$800.00;
3. THAT an additional fee be added:
Site Plan Agreement Amendment in the amount of$250.00 plus deposit$250.00;
4. THAT an additional note be added to the Planning Department section as
follows:
Note:Any legal or consulting fees over and above established rates will be
added to all planning fees These fees are charged per lot, where applicable.
5. AND THAT in all other respects By-law 2012-022, as amended, be hereby
confirmed.
READ FIRST,SECOND,AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 6th day of MARCH 2014.
