BY-LAW NO. 2013-024
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF A CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
AND
HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN IN RIGHT OF ONTARIO
AS REPRESENTED BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND RURAL
AFFAIRS
REGARDING
THE MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT INITIATIVE FUND
WHERAS Section 5(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended, provides that a
municipality shall exercises its' powers, including a municipality's capacity, rights, powers and
privileges under Section 9, by by-law.
AND WHEREAS the Municipality of Bayham is proceeding with formulating a comprehensive
Asset Management Plan for the Municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has approved funding for
such project in an amount not to exceed $23,767.50 under its' Municipal Infrastructure
Investment Initiative Fund;
AND WHEREAS the Parties wish to proceed with the required Contribution Agreement;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law between
the Municipality of Bayham and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as
represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 5th DAY
OF MARCH,2013.
