BY-LAW 2012-131
BEING A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR A BY-ELECTION TO FILL THE VACANCY OF
DEPUTY MAYOR FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
WHEREAS in accordance with Section 263 of the Municipal Act, S.O 2001, c.25 as amended, the
Council of the Municipality of Bayham, at its meeting held November 15, 2012 declared the seat of
Deputy Mayor to be vacant;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act provides that a municipal council may fill the vacancy by
appointment or alternatively by by-election;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bayham, in
accordance with Section 263 of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c25 as amended, hereby authorizes
the Clerk to conduct a by-election to fill the vacancy of Deputy Mayor.
READ A FIRST, SECOND TIME AND THIRD TIME and finally passed this 20th day of
December 2012.
