BY-LAW 2011-098
A By-Law to Appoint a Treasurer
WHEREAS Subsection 286 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001 c.25, as amended,
provides in part that a municipality shall appoint a treasurer who is responsible for handling all
of the financial affairs of the municipality on behalf of and in the manner directed by the council
of the municipality.
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary and
expedient to appoint a Treasurer to perform those duties as required.
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Mr. David Aristone be and is hereby appointed Treasurer for the Municipality of
Bayham to perform such duties commencing December 20, 2011 and until such
appointment is repealed.
2. THAT By-law No. 2010-024 be and same is hereby repealed effective December 20,
2011.
3. THAT this By-law shall come into full force and affect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 5TH
DAY OF DECEMBER,2011.
