BY-LAW 2011-088
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
TOWNSHIP OF MALAHIDE,THE TOWN OF AYLMER AND THE COUNTY OF
ELGIN FOR THE SHARING OF GIS/GPS SERVICES
WHEREAS Corporation of the Township of Malahide proposes to retain staff for GISIGPS
services and to contract with the Town of Aylmer, the Municipality of Bayham and the County
of Elgin to provide such services;
AND WHEREAS these municipalities wish to participate in this co-operative approach to
meeting GIS/GPS needs of their respective organizations;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it
necessary and expedient to execute an agreement with the Township and Malahide, the Town of
Aylmer and the County of Elgin for the provision of GISIGPS services.
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Administrator be and are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law, between
The Corporation of the Township of Malahide, The Corporation of the Municipality of
Bayham, The Corporation of the Town of Aylmer and the Corporation of the County of
Elgin, for the provision of GIS/GPS Services;
2. THAT By-law 2009-123 authorizing an agreement between the Township of Malahide,
the Town of Aylmer and the Municipality of Bayham for the provision of GIS/GPS
Services be hereby repealed;
3. AND THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 20TH
DAY OF OCTOBER 2011.
