BY-LAW NO. 2011-084
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
FISHERIES AND OCEANS
REGARDING AN ENVIRONMENTAL PEER REVIEW
WHEREAS the Municipality of Bayham has requested a Peer Review of available
environmental information for the SCH Port Burwell facility as part of any proposed transfer of
SCH holdings at Port Burwell.
AND WHEREAS the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans has agreed to fund this project to a
maximum of$20,396.50 inclusive of HST.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of
entering into a Memorandum of Agreement with The Department of Fisheries and Oceans to
carry out such project.
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Administrator be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
Memorandum of Understanding attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-
law between the Municipality of Bayham and The Department of Fisheries and Oceans
regarding an Environmental Peer Review for the SCH Port Burwell Facility.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 6th DAY
OF OCTOBER 2011.
