Home My WebLink AboutBy-law No. 2005-028 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO.2005-028 A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE ACQUISITION OF LANDS DESCRIBED AS PART OF LOT 119 AND LOT 120 CONCESSION NORTH TALBOT ROAD, FORMER TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM, DESIGNATED AS PARTS 2 AND 3 ON REGISTERED PLAN 11R-4611 FROM DAVID AND BARBARA MITCHELL WHEREAS Section 8 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, provides that a municipality has the capacity, rights, powers, and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act. AND WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary and expedient to accept conveyance of lands from David and Barbara Mitchell described as Part of Lots 119 and Lot 120 Concession North Talbot Road, former Township of Bayham, designated as Parts 2 and 3 on Registered Plan 11R-4611 from David and Barbara Mitchell. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham does hereby accept the conveyance of lands from David and Barbara Mitchell described as Part of Lots 119 and Lot 120 Concession North Talbot Road, former Township of Bayham, now in the Municipality of Bayham, County of Elgin, designated as Parts 2 and 3,on Registered Plan 11R-4611, for municipal purposes. 2.
