HomeMy WebLinkAboutMarch 22, 2007 - Council COUNCIL MINUTES THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM 9344 Plank Road, Straffordville Thursday March 22, 2007 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Lynn Acre, Deputy Mayor Cliff Evanitski, Councillors Wayne Casier and Ed Ketchabaw, Administrator Kyle Kruger, and Clerk Lynda Millard. Planning Co-ordinator Margaret Underhill and Water/Wastewater Superintendent Ed Roloson were in attendance to present their respective reports. Councillor Mark Taylor was absent. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. DELEGATIONS (a) 7:05 p.m.—Donna Morrell, ratepayer was in attendance seeking Council support for a proposed residence construction in Vienna. She wishes to rebuild a home a little larger than the old house that had been demolished six or seven years ago. As the property is located in Floodway, she was advised that rezoning is necessary. Administrator Kruger provided a brief overview of the process and the costs involved. Item 8.1(d) 5. INFORMATION ITEMS Mayor Acre announced.that Bayham has been approved to receive $505,000 through the Rural Infrastructure Investment Initiative for upgrades to the Sewage Treatment Plant for septage disposal.
