HomeMy WebLinkAboutApril 03, 2008 - Council COUNCIL MINUTES THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM 9344 Plank Road, Straffordville Thursday April 3,2008 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Lynn Acre,Deputy Mayor Cliff Evanitski, Councillors Mark Taylor, Wayne Casier and Ed Ketchabaw, Administrator Kyle Kruger and Clerk Lynda Millard. Fire Chief Paul Groeneveld and Planning Co-ordinator Margaret Underhill were in attendance to present their respective reports. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p. m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. DELEGATIONS 7:05 p.m. —Matt Schafer, Chairman and Jean Woon, member,Edison Museum Building Committee presented the New Museum Draft Feasibility Study and responded to questions from Council. It was proposed that Phase I and II would be undertaken initially and scaled back to Phase I if that goal was deemed to be unattainable. Mrs. Woon acknowledged the members' commitment to raise all capital funds from sources outside the municipal tax levy. Item 9.1 (b) 5.
