The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held beginning at
7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2007 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Lynn
Acre, Deputy Mayor Cliff Evanitski, Councillors Mark Taylor,Wayne Casier and Ed
Ketchabaw, Administrator Kyle Kruger and Deputy Clerk Margaret Underhill.
Fire Chief Paul Groeneveld was in attendance to present his reports.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

4. DELEGATIONS
(a) 7:05—7:35 p.m.—Terry Patterson.Jardine Lloyd Thompson,was in attendance
to discuss the Municipal Insurance Renewal Program for 2007. Discussions took place
regarding the insurance program coverage, deductible amounts,levels of liability,past and
current quotes.
Council took a brief 10-minute break to permit Mr. Kristensen to setup his PowerPoint
presentation.
(b) 7:45—8:35 p.m.—Kent Kristensen, SSL,was in attendance to provide an update
regarding the proposed international ferry service. Mr. Kristensen presented a PowerPoint
presentation about the proposed ferry service and the current status.
Council took a brief 5-minute break and resumedthe meeting at 8:40 p.m.

(a) Verbal discussion of the Wind Turbine Interpretive Centre.
It was discussed that the Municipal Planner William Poi, IBI Group, has visited the site,
taken measurements and prepared a conceptual plan including a kiosk. Recently there has
been discussion of adding a building to the plan. Plans have not been finalized at this time.
All plans will be presented to Council at a future date.

Thompson Canada Inc., amended to remove the 2nd excess limit as quoted at a
