THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM

7:00 p.m.
The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held in Council Chambers.
Present were Mayor Lynn Acre, Deputy Mayor Mathew Schafer, Councillors Mark Taylor, Paul Ens and
Cliff Evanitski,Administrator Kyle Kruger and Clerk Lynda Millard. Planning Co-ordinator Margaret
Underhill and Public Works Superintendent Bob Bartlett were in attendance to present their respective
reports.
1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

4. DELEGATIONS
(a) 7:45 p.m.-Jean Woon,Edison Museum Board Representative was in attendance regarding Item 9.1(b)
and(c).
Mrs. Woon requested that Council approve the request to transfer the surplus 2005 budget to the Edison
Museum Building Project Reserve Fund. She also requested that Council support an Edison Museum
website through Elgin Connects proposed to be an approximate annual cost of$600-$660. She noted
that the Board believes this is vital when seeking public,private and corporate building project funding
support. She added that,if denied by Council in the annual operating budget,Board members feel the
website is so critical they would request use of reserve funds to launch the site.
Mrs.Woon also reviewed members' concerns regarding the proposed Governance and Structure
By-law 2006-003.

AND THAT any funding,project confirmation, agreements, contracts or other
commitments must be further approved by Council prior to proceeding."
