HomeMy WebLinkAboutNovember 23, 2006 - Council COUNCIL MINUTES THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM Bayham Community Centre (Straffordville) Thursday November 23,2006 7:00 p.m. (Upper Room) 8:00 p.m. (Main Hall) Volunteer Award Presentations The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at the Bayham Community Centre in Straffordville. Present were Mayor Lynn Acre,Deputy Mayor Mathew Schafer, Councillors Mark Taylor, Paul Ens and Cliff Evanitski and Clerk Lynda Millard. Public Works Superintendent Bob Bartlett, Drainage Superintendent Dwayne Daniel and Deputy Clerk Margaret Underhill were in attendance to present their respective reports. Volunteer Awards were presented at 8:00 p.m. Community Recognition recipients were Bob Lozon and Michelle Babcock. Jack Barclay was presented the Citizen of the Year Award. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF Councillor Paul Ens declared an interest in items 9.1(e) and 9.2(a) as he is named in the appointment resolutions and exited the room during discussion and vote. 3.
