2006 ONTARIO SUMMER GAMES
The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held in Council Chambers.
Present were Mayor Lynn Acre, Deputy Mayor Mathew Schafer, Councillors Mark Taylor, Paul Ens
and Cliff Evanitski, Administrator Kyle Kruger and Clerk Lynda Millard. Treasurer Suzanna Mantel
and Fire Chief/By-law Enforcement Paul Groeneveld were in attendance to present their respective
reports.
The Clerk vacated Council Chambers during discussion of Items 11.1(b), (c), (d) and 11.2(a).
1. CALL TO ORDER&PRESENTATIONS
Mayor Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and requested the players, managers and coaches of
the Bantam Boys Minor Ball Team to come forward.
The Mayor and Council Members made a presentation of certificates and Bayham lapel pins and offered
congratulations to each. A framed team certificate suitable for hanging was also presented. Team
players were Brandon Baldwin, Stephen DeBlaire, Jarrett Anderson, Rick Southwick,Nathan Clarke,
Dwayne Froese, Oscar Neufeld,Tyler Milmine, Ryan Johnson, Quinn Weber, Carson Morse, Tim
Thiessen, Peter Unrau and Scott Lovell. Managers were Tracey Morse and Helen McCreadie, Coaches
Larry Milmine,Rob Clarke,Tom Morse and Al Lovell.
2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST& THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF
Councillor Evanitski advised that he does not have an interest in item 9.2(a), however, would
answer any questions but not vote on the matter.
