CORRESPONDENCE&REPORTS (a) A verbal report regarding Noise By-law Compliance was provided by the Administrator. At the invitation of Council, two neighbouring residents had been invited to provide input and comments on the noise levels at Country Camping the previous long weekend. Christine Churchill and Carole Engelhardt were in attendance in this regard. Since the weekend was very wet, both indicated that attendance was considerably less than on a good weekend and contributed to a reduced noise level. However, it was agreed that the owner and staff at the campground put in a good effort and were effective in maintaining compliance. Band music was shut down by 1:00 a.m. It was noted that there were no known acts of trespassing and minimal littering concerns. It was noted that continued compliance at this weekend's level would be acceptable. It was questioned how continued compliance is going to be measured and what steps will be taken for non-compliance. Council discussion followed with a decision regarding exemption to be made at the next regular meeting on June 3rd. Mrs. Churchill and Ms. Engelhardt expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Municipal Council and Staff.
