Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Thursday, April 1,2004 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday,March 18,2004 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Lynn Acre,Deputy Mayor Mathew Schafer,Councillors Mark Taylor,Paul Ens and Cliff Evanitski,Administrator Kyle Kruger and Planning Co-ordinator/Deputy Clerk Margaret Underhill. The Fire Chief Sam Taylor was also in attendance to present his reports. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Lynn Acre called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held March 18, 2004 2004-162 Moved by P. Ens Seconded by M. Taylor "THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Municipality of Bayham held March 18,2004 be approved, as amended." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 4. DELEGATIONS 7:05 n.m.—Henry Valks,Superintendent,Port Burwell Provincial Park was present regarding parking arrangements and road grading services. Mr.Valks advised of upgrades to the office and that $50,000 would be put towards a creative playground in 2004. He added that he is willing to work with others to promote the area and that there are places at the park where museum and event promotion material may be placed for visitors. That the Council of the Municipality of Bayham approve the draft Dispute Resolution Policy for the Elgin Area Water System as dated June 5a`,2003. Regional Water Quality.Capacity and Green Power Initiatives Program 3. That the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham endorse the development of the Regional Water Quality,Capacity and Green Power Initiatives Program,prepared by the Joint Board of Management for the Elgin Area Primary Water Supply System(EAPWSS)in partnership with the Joint Board of Management for the Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System and the City of London; AND THAT the Municipality of Bayham confirm its support for the request made by this Partnership for funding assistance,through the Infrastructure Canada—Strategic Infrastructure Fund,for the Regional Water Quality,Capacity and Green Power Initiatives Program; AND FURTHER THAT this resolution by the Municipality of Bayham be confirmed with the Board of Management for the Eglin Area Primary Water Supply System.
